San Mateo, California, December 20, 2017 -Brekeke Software announced the release of v3.8 beta update for their SIP proxy/registrar server, Brekeke SIP Server, and SIP telephony platform, Brekeke PBX. One of the major updates in v3.8 is the upgraded call detailed records (CDR) ready to be implemented with any major billing system in the market. This update also offers improved usability by adding easier configuration options and a user-friendly phone book function.
“While we worked on this version update, our goal was to further improve usability of our software. By creating more efficient options for administrators and engineers, we were able to minimize the chances of various configuration errors and also improved the speed of setting up a system,” said Shin Yamade, Brekeke’s CEO. “One update targeting service providers and integrators is the new and improved CDR. It can be written into a database without any additional programs, and it has a customizable field to fit customers’ requirements,” added Yamade.
Version 3.8 updates of Brekeke PBX are made to improve usability and minimize configuration errors and process time. The import/export function of user information allows efficient and accurate creation of multiple users. The phone book function allows instant phone book creation on desktop phones via provisioning server, importing phone book information from any third-party contact information such as Outlook and Google contacts.
Improved CDR in Brekeke SIP Server allows seamless integration with third-party billing systems without requiring any custom engineering work. System administrators can add field to the CDR to match the existing service or system they own. Another update of CDR is that Brekeke’s CDR can be written directly in a database.
The v3.8 beta version is currently available to download from Brekeke’s website. The standard version of v3.8 is scheduled to be released in early 2018.
