Provisional Response to OPTIONS

My UA sends OPTIONS messages to the Proxy, and it replied with TRYING and then 404.

My Question is, as per RFC 3261 8.2.6.1, Provisional responses "SHOULD NOT" be sent for non-invite mesages.

Is there any specific reason the Proxy sends a Trying response ??

at sip server/configuration/sip/Miscellaneous, there is "100 Trying" which default is "any requests".

There are client products which expect a 1xx response...
