SIP Redundancy for High Availability SIP services
Brekeke’s redundancy feature increases reliability and high availability of a SIP service by adding alternative paths for a downtime caused by a failure or maintenance. Brekeke SIP Server's SIP redundancy feature requires two servers of Brekeke SIP Server installed, one as a primary server and other as a secondary server.
Brekeke SIP Server's SIP Redundancy
Example below shows the redundant setup of Brekeke SIP Server Advanced Edition. The primary server is acting as a live server which handles all call control for the SIP service, and secondary server as a back-up server.
Maintain Real-time SIP session information using Mirroring
With Brekeke SIP Server Advanced Edition, the primary server mirrors its SIP session and registration data to the secondary server in real-time. The secondary server can take over the service with the mirrored data in case the primary server taken down.
Instant Automatic Failover
The Heartbeat feature of Brekeke SIP Server Advanced Edition provides a failover function. It watches targets which are network entities such as another Brekeke SIP Server at frequent intervals. When it detects a target is down, it executes pre-defined actions set by system administrator.
