SIP Trunking and Brekeke Products

Business Enterprises can take full advantage of their Brekeke SIP Server or IP-PBX to not only communicate within their local IP Network, but also outside to the traditional PSTN network, by leasing a SIP trunk from an Internet Telephony Service Provider (ITSP). A SIP trunk will allow your Enterprise to replace traditional fixed PSTN wire lines with VoIP connections through the Internet. Also, SIP trunks from an ITSP eliminate the need for local VoIP SIP Gateways or Media Gateways.

Vonage is a well-known ITSP that offers several SIP Trunking packages. Several other ITSP vendors have been tested and proven to be compatible with Brekeke SIP Server and Brekeke PBX. Please consult the ITSP Interoperability link below for a complete list and integration instructions.

VoIP Gateways are used to provide PSTN Fallback. PSTN Fallback is a backup method to SIP Trunks. If the ITSP service fails, the VoIP Gateway insures continues access to the PSTN until IP Network Service is restored.
