Brekeke Software to Release JTAPI SDK
SAN MATEO, Calif., March 7, 2006 - Brekeke Software, Inc., an emerging leader in voice and data communications technology, today announced the release of their Brekeke JTAPI SDK planned for April. The Brekeke JTAPI SDK is a software development kit for creating SIP compliant applications using Java language.
Brekeke's JTAPI SDK application interface is JTAPI (Java Telephony Application Programming Interface) which is a telephony API specification published by Sun Microsystems, Inc. This software development kit contains base components of Brekeke's OnDO SIP Server and OnDO PBX, a SIP registrar and proxy server and IP-PBX, whose stability and usability is confirmed by users world-wide.
With multi-platform support, Brekeke's JTAPI SDK will support such features as making calls, receiving calls, call transfer, call recording, playing sound files, DTMF recognition and conference.
By combining features, Java software developers can easily create their own IVR, call service application, or conference server. Additionally developers can convert existing non SIP applications to SIP, re-use existing JTAPI applications, and integrate SIP-based telephony systems with other applications such as CRM or groupware.
